TESTING PROCEDURE AND REQUIREMENT

A. Closed window conditions shall begin 12 hours prior to(ALL WINDOWS, UPSTAIRS AND DOWN) and during the test period. (48 Hour minimum)
Except for normal entrance and exit of doors, they shall remain closed.

B. Heating and Air conditioning systems that recycle interior air may be operated, with the fan on auto.

C. No whole house fans or Fireplaces shall be operated.

D. Ceiling fans, portable dehumidifiers, portable air filters and window air conditioners shall not be operated within 20 feet of the detector.

E. DO NOT TOUCH, COVER, MOVE OR ALTER THE PERFORMANCE OF THE RADON DETECTOR(S) OR NON-INTERFERENCE CONTROLS.

TAMPERING WITH RADON MEASURMENTS IS PROHIBITED BY LAW AND MAY RESULT IN CIVIL PENALTIES. THIS IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH TITLE 32, CHAPTER II, AND SUBCHAPTER b: RADIATION PROTECTION, MEASSUREMENT PROTOCOL, 422.130(e).
